Hello, PixelHost Community! 🎮
Today, we’re bringing you a quick and easy guide for those who want to disable spawn protection on their Minecraft server. We know it can be frustrating to try building or destroying blocks near the spawn and not being able to. But don’t worry, we’ve got the solution! 🚀
How to Disable Spawn Protection on Your Minecraft Server
Go to the File Manager 📂
Locate and open the file named server.properties.
Find the line spawn-protection 🔍
Change the value from "16" to "0".
Common Issue: "I can’t find the spawn-protection line."
Solution✔️: Make sure you’re looking in the correct file and using a proper text editor that displays all lines in the file. Sometimes, text editors may hide lines if they are not in plain text format.
Save the file 💾
Restart your Minecraft server 🔄
Common Issue: "I made the changes, but spawn protection is still active."
Solution✔️: Ensure that you saved the changes correctly and restarted the server. If the problem persists, check if there are any additional plugins or mods that might be enforcing spawn protection.
And that’s it! 🚀 You can now enjoy your Minecraft server without the restrictions of spawn protection.Remember, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask in the PixelHost Discord or contact our support team.Follow us on Twitter (@PixelProHosting) to stay up to date.
