Hello, Minecraft players! 🎮🌍

Are you ready to dive into a private experience with your friends on your Minecraft server? We know there’s nothing worse than building your dream world only to have an unexpected griefer show up. But don’t worry! Today, we’re bringing you a super simple guide to enable the Whitelist on your server and keep those intruders out of your kingdom. 🏰🚫

What is the Whitelist? 🤍

The Whitelist is a feature that allows you to create a private server in Minecraft, where only the players you authorize can join. This is perfect if you want a space just for your friends, family, or for that epic session without worrying about unwanted guests.

How to Enable the Whitelist in Java Edition 🍵

Access the Server Console:

  • Open your server panel and navigate to the console 📺.

  • Type whitelist on and press Enter. Now, your server is protected. If you want to disable it, just type whitelist off in the console.

Add Friends to the Whitelist:

  • Use the command whitelist add [player_name] to add players.

  • To remove a player from the whitelist, simply type whitelist remove [player_name].

⚠️ Remember: You don’t need to add players with "OP" status to the whitelist.

How to View Whitelisted Players 📜

To check which players are on your server’s whitelist:

  • Open the server panel.

  • Go to "Files."

  • Look for the "whitelist.json" file and click on it. Here, you can see who is on the server’s whitelist.
