The SkinRestorer plugin can be very useful if you're running your server in offline mode (no-premium). When configured as "online-mode" your server won’t display premium users' skins correctly. However, with the SkinRestorer plugin, you can ensure skins are displayed even in offline mode. To install it, just follow these steps:
💾 Download the JAR File
Download the SkinRestorer plugin JAR file from its official download page.
🔐 Access Your Server Control Panel
Log in to the control panel of your Minecraft server.
📂 Click on "Files"
In the left-hand menu, click on "Files."
🗂️ Go to the "plugins" Folder
Select the "plugins" folder.
📝 Note: If this folder doesn't appear, it means your server isn't using a plugin-compatible version. You need to install PaperSpigot from the "Versions" section before installing this plugin.
🔄 Upload the Plugin
Drag the JAR file you downloaded into the "plugins" folder.
⏳ Wait for the Upload
Wait for the JAR file to fully upload to your server.
🔁 Restart Your Server
Once the upload is complete, restart your Minecraft server to activate the plugin.
The SkinRestorer plugin allows players on your server to load their custom skins. After installing the plugin, you may want to configure it to suit your server's needs, although it should work fine without any configuration changes. To do this, you can access the SkinRestorer configuration file in the "plugins" folder and make any necessary adjustments.
