Below is a detailed step-by-step guide on how to disable online mode on your server:

🖥️ Access Your Minecraft Server Control Panel

Log in to your PixelHost control panel to begin.

📂 Navigate to the "Files" Section

Locate the "server.properties" file within the "Files" section and click on "Edit."

🔄 Modify the Online Mode Setting

Find the line that says online-mode=true and change it to online-mode=false.

⚠️ Common Issue: Make sure there are no extra spaces or accidental changes in the file. Incorrect syntax can cause the server to fail to start.

💾 Save the Changes

After making the edit, save the file and close the editor.

🔁 Restart Your Server

To apply the changes, restart your server by clicking on "Restart" in the control panel.

🎮 Your Server is Now Offline-Mode Enabled

Once the server restarts, it will be in offline mode, allowing players to join without needing a premium Minecraft account.

🔒 Important: Keep in mind that disabling online mode exposes your server to potential security risks, such as unauthorized users logging in with OP (operator) accounts. To mitigate these risks, it's highly recommended to implement additional security measures, such as installing security plugins and setting up player access passwords.

By following these steps, you’ll successfully switch your Minecraft server to offline mode. If you encounter any issues or have further questions, feel free to reach out to our support team!
