Hello everyone! Have you ever wanted to play on your Minecraft Bedrock server with addons? In this guide, we'll explain how to upload a world along with its respective addons, so you can enjoy them with your friends!

Let’s get started! 👾

Downloading Addons ⬇️

The first step is to choose the addons you want to use. For this guide, we'll use "Rayon's Tree Chop-Capitator," but you can download the ones you like best from the following page:

Once you have downloaded the "Behavior_Packs" and "Resource_Packs" files, click on them to import them into your game. 📁(Note: Not all addons or behavior packs require Resource_Packs to function.)

Creating a World with Addons 🌍

Next, you need to create a Bedrock world with the addons you want to use on the server. Be sure to load all the addons you plan to use, as you'll have to repeat the process if you want to add new behavior packs later.

Create a World: Open Minecraft and create a new world.

Activate Resource Packs: In the world creation menu, activate the resource packs you want to use.

Activate Behavior Packs: Do the same with the behavior packs.

Enable Experimental Features: Make sure to activate all the experimental features. It’s crucial to enable these now because you won’t be able to modify these settings later.

After creating the world, verify that your addons are working correctly.

💡 Common Issue: "I created the world, but my addons aren’t working."

Solution: Make sure you activated the packs during the world creation process.

Exporting Your World 🌍

Once you've created the world and confirmed that your addons work correctly, export your world.

Importing the World with Addons to the Server 🌍

Now that you have your world exported with the addons installed, it's time to upload it to the server.

Note: Since we're uploading a new world, everything in the "world" -> "level" folder will need to be deleted. (You can make a backup of your old world if you want.) ❌❌❌

  • Open the Server Panel: Access your server’s control panel, and turn off the server if it’s running.

  • Navigate to Files: Go to the "Files" section and enter the "world" folder, then go into the "level" folder.

  • Upload the World: Upload the .mcworld file of your world and unarchive it.

With this, your world will be uploaded to the server. Now, let's upload the addons!

Uploading the Addons ⬆️

Your world is now on the server, but we still have one more step: uploading the addons to the server! To do this, locate the following folders: "behavior_packs" and "resource_packs."

  1. Behavior Packs: In the "behavior_packs" folder, upload the addon file that ends with "behavior_pack" and unarchive.

  2. Resource Packs: In the "resource_packs" folder, upload the addon file that ends with "resource_pack" and unarchive it, just like the previous step.

That’s it! Your world with addons is now loaded onto the server. Let’s check if everything is working.

Start the Server and Join in Minecraft Bedrock

Turn on the server and join it to ensure that your addons are functioning properly.

Conclusion

Now you can play worlds with addons on your server. Remember to follow all the steps to avoid complications.
